O estádio do Beira-Rio, assim como acontece na Arena do arquirrival, terá um setor dedicado aos torcedores do Internacional que gostam de assistir a partida em pé, sem as tradicionais cadeiras, simulando a antiga tradição brasileira de um setor comumente chamado de Geral.

Em seu site oficial, o Colorado divulgou que deu início nessa semana ao processo de retirada de cinco mil cadeiras, número máximo permitido pela legislação e os respectivos órgãos de segurança. Antes de começar essa retirada, o clube afirmou que passou por trâmites de segurança envolvendo três entidades diferentes do estado:Batalhão de Operações Especiais,Brigada Militar eCorpo de Bombeiros.

Além da retirada das cadeiras, está previsto na iniciativa a instalação das chamadas barras antiesmagamento, não permitindo que a movimentação conhecida como avalanche ocorra e possa causar acidentes mais graves com os torcedores que ocupem o setor.

Nas palavras do diretor de patrimônio, Marcelo Poloni, essa medida é solicitada pelo torcedor desde o início de 2017. Porém, somente agora foi possível concluir todas as análises e debates internos para que o projeto saísse do imaginário e entrasse na parte prática.

– Esse é um processo que iniciou praticamente junto com o começo desta gestão, no início de 2017. Batsmen are at fault too. But in our case, the batsmen gift them the wickets regularly without the bowlers earning it, that’s the most terrible thing,” Mushfiqur said. “We have to work on avoiding soft dismissals. We have been doing it for a long period during which many of us have scored runs as well. Sometimes situations are such that a single dismissal turns the game away from us. Questions are justifiably raised and we are concerned about it.”The balance between the batsmen’s instincts and the demands of the situation hasn’t been achieved, seen in Mushfiqur’s dismissal in the second innings here; he had skipped down the track only to be beaten and bowled by spinner Veerasammy Permaul.”I don’t even know [if] I’ve got out like that before. I don’t remember getting out to a nothing shot like that. It was my fault. I wanted to play a long innings and forge a partnership with Shakib, but it didn’t happen,” Mushfiqur said.He was also upset with his team’s unspirited comeback from the first Test defeat. “It is quite frustrating because we played well in the first Test. In the first innings here, Abul [Hasan] played outstandingly or we could have been out of the Test very early. He kept us in the game and we scored almost 400.”We also missed some chances and it is important to hold on to them on such pitches, because it becomes difficult to get [batsmen] out. In the second innings, there wasn’t much help for the bowlers. As it happens most of the times, we played bad shots to get out. If that didn’t happen, you saw how Shakib and Nasir [Hossain] batted – there were no demons in the wicket.”Bangladesh play their next Test in Sri Lanka in February next year, in another two-Test series. Judging by the number of limited-overs matches they have scheduled at all levels in the interim, the repeat of these mistakes cannot be ruled out.

Na última quarta-feira aconteceu a pré-estreia do filme que conta a história de glórias e fatos marcantes dos 100 anos de existência do Fortaleza Esporte Clube. Em formato de documentário, o longa intitulado “Meu Tricolor de Aço” traz depoimentos de ídolos do passado e de torcedores ilustres do Leão.

Fundado em 1918, o clube é um dos mais tradicionais do país. Conta com equipes e títulos memoráveis em seu passado, e capítulos recentes muito celebrados por seus torcedores, como o título estadual de 2015, alcançado após um gol do atacante Cassiano nos acréscimos, e também a conquista da Série B do Campeonato Brasileiro de 2018, sob o comando do técnico Rogério Ceni.

O presidente do Fortaleza, Marcelo Paz, deu suas impressões sobre a produção.

– Esse filme é um registro histórico muito completo que retrata diversas épocas do clube, as glórias e também momentos de dificuldade. Ele resgatou personagens importantes, como ex-jogadores, ex-dirigentes e funcionários. É, de certa forma, o manual do Fortaleza em vídeo, e culminou com esse ano maravilhoso que nós vivemos em nosso centenário, com o acesso e o título. Foi um enredo perfeito e que vai agradar bastante o público nos cinemas.

Após a exibição do documentário, o presidente atendeu e tirou fotos com torcedores que compareceram ao evento, que aconteceu no Shopping Center Lapa, localizado na zona oeste da capital paulista.

Além da presença do empresário Raul Doria, irmão do governador do estado de São Paulo, João Doria, também esteve presente no evento o senador Luiz Eduardo Girão, um dos diretores da Estação Luz Filmes, produtora do documentário, e ex-presidente do Fortaleza. Ele destacou o que, em sua opinião, é o papel principal da obra.

– É uma homenagem ao grande patrimônio do Fortaleza, aos donos de verdade do clube, que é a torcida. É uma forma de reconhecimento do que eles têm feito pelo time ao longo desses 100 anos. O amor desses torcedores encanta o Brasil inteiro, e agora está nas telas. O filme é a ‘cereja do bolo’, a coroação de um ano tão perfeito dessa equipe.

O projeto começou a ser colocado em prática no início da campanha vitoriosa do Leão na Série B do Brasileirão de 2018, e contou com a direção de Glauber Filho, Valdo Siqueira e Tibico Brasil.

Sobre o filme, Tibico falou sobre a experiência e o processo de produção.

– Foi algo novo para mim, pois foi a primeira vez que trabalhei com um documentário ligado a esporte. Começamos a gravá-lo no começo da Série B, e a expectativa era produzir um material clássico sobre o centenário do clube, o que já seria um grande desafio, porque são 100 anos para sintetizar em 72 minutos. Começamos em 1918, com o fundador Alcides Santos e vamos acompanhando as glórias, vitórias e também as derrotas e momentos difíceis do clube. O filme é montado através dos depoimentos de jogadores, ex-jogadores, mas tem uma presença muito grande de torcedores e conta com a colaboração de pesquisadores que trabalharam com a história do clube.

O diretor completa ressaltando as particularidades que esse trabalho ofereceu.

– A produção foi crescendo à medida que o time tinha um bom desempenho na temporada, e fomos atualizando o documentário com a bela história que estava acontecendo, o que é raro para um documentarista, que normalmente apenas relata fatos que já aconteceram. Espero que as pessoas se emocionem assistindo, assim como nós nos emocionamos e nos encantamos por essa história tão interessante na produção do filme.

Desde a última quinta-feira, o filme está em cartaz em cinemas de todo o estado do Ceará e também no Shopping Center Lapa, em São Paulo, palco do evento de pré-estreia.

Khawaja will captain the side for the three-day game and while most members of the team are younger players who have been rewarded for some early-season form, all eyes will be on Khawaja and Doolan.Cricket Australia emphasised that the squad was chosen before Ponting made his decision to retire from international cricket, meaning the match is not intended as a bat-off for Test selection.
